  • Hunting in the forest makes for an exciting experience. One never knows what animal might be lurking until within close proximity. Hunting with the pygmy people is an incredible experience, as these extraordinarily talented trackers can find spore not visible to even the most trained eye. This outfitter has been conducting hunts in Cameroon’s forest for more than 20 years and has had a 90% success rate on bongo averaging 27”-28”. This hunt is challenging, but the aid of the experienced P.H., pygmy trackers and dogs will help you to unveil your trophy bongo.

  • Includes: Meet and assist at Douala airport, transfer from Douala to hunting area and back by charter plane, 4x4 vehicles, professional hunters, trackers, porters, skinners, accommodations and drinks at the hunting camp, the loan of a rifle with scope if necessary and trophy care.
  • Not included: Commercial flights, trophy fees, community development tax (15% on the amount of trophy fees), hunting permit approx. €1,600, packing and forwarding of trophies approx. €1,000, package for transfers and hotel cost in Douala on first night on arrival approx. €350/person, visa & rifle importation license fees, ammunitions and gratuities.

  • This outfitter has been consistently taking excellent Lord Derby eland for many years in his exclusive concession area adjacent to the Faro National Park. Averaging bulls in the 47”-51” range, our outfitter has produced 100% success in the past. There are several other species that can be taken on this hunt including western roan, bushbuck and kob. Because permits are limited to 4-5 hunters per year, expect a hunt focused on getting you a spectacular trophy.

  • Transportation: Fly to Garoua, Cameroon. Outfitter will meet and assist with clearing customs.
