Like any form of wingshooting vacation, our clients enjoyment depends on 5 major factors in quality and reliability of an operation. These are first class shooting, privacy for every group, high quality accommodations, well trained staff in the field and at the lodge, and the overall personal attention that these outfitters have with their guests, many who book year after year. We have clients who are in their 17th season with this outfitter.
The area, located in the southeastern area of the province of Buenos Aires isknown as the depression of the Rio Salado, and provides excellent duck shoots. Its landmass combines good pasture and croplands with depressions, ponds, lagoons, and marshlands, and is an ideal habitat for ducks. Shooting is primarily done in baited lagoons or ponds, and sometimes in baited canals (passes) between large water bodies, as in cropped feeding areas.
Normally our guests hunt in pairs in natural cover or well camouflaged blinds. A 25 bird limit per person in the Morning Hunts as 15 in the afternoon hunt has to be respected. Partridge shoots are done in pairs behind pointing and retrieving dogs. An average of 20 points per dog can be expected during this hunt. Pigeon hunting, which is dependent on prior scouting and seasonal climate factors, is done in feeding areas or in the occasional roosting area.
