Mountain Lion Hunt

Mountain lion hunting in the western U.S. can be one of the most exciting big game hunts on the market, but the success of a lion hunt is dependent upon the capability of the hunting dogs and the men who handle them. Transportation: Fly into Grand Junction where the outfitter will meet you & transport to lodge.

Big Cats On Vancouver Island

Vancouver Island has one of the highest concentrations of mountain lion in North America. This outfitter schedules his cougar hunts during the winter months, when there is fresh snow on the ground or cold, dry conditions, consequently maximizing the opportunities for a successful hunt. The hunt is conducted with experienced B.C. hunting guides using 4x4’s and snowmobiles to find the tracks. Once a fresh trail has been located, a pack of hounds will be released to track and tree the cougar. You can expect to see numerous different cougar tracks during your hunt.

Trophy Mountain Lion

These hunts take place in Wyoming and Colorado during the winter months. Along with good snow conditions the most import element of a successful lion hunt is to have great hounds; this outfitter offers fantastic hunting hounds and success rates have been in the 90% - 100% range on nice mature toms. This is one of the most underrated trophies in North America, as it is an exciting hunt that offers a hunter high success for a reasonable price. Taking place during the time period when there is little else to hunt in North America, don’t discount how exhilarating a lion hunt would be; not to mention a beautiful animal to add to your trophy room.

Transportation: Fly into Worland, Wyoming or Colorado Springs, Colorado where the outfitter will meet you and transfer you to the hunting area.
