Trophy Mule Deer In Mexico

Colorado Mule Deer

This outfitter has some of the best mule deer hunting available in Colorado. The average size mule deer is about 160-170 B&C class bucks with the biggest ever being over 200 B&C, shot in 2003. Those not accustomed to Colorado mule deer hunting will be amazed at the sheer number of animals they will see. Some herds here can grow to over 300 to 500 animals.

This hunt takes place on a 300,000 acre ranch in northern New Mexico that after many years of intense management has begun producing quality bucks. The 2007 season produced 100% success with a 170” average and the largest buck pushed 195 B&C. Because this ranch has been given time to mature, it now produces the quality bucks we knew were possible. Alaskan Sitka Blacktail Deer

The rainforest of southeast Alaska offers superb hunting for Sitka blacktail deer. This outfitter has early season hunts which take place above the tree line in high alpine country as well as late season hunts in both the timber and muskegs. August and September alpine hunts offer the chance for good weather with bucks feeding in the lush vegetation offered at this time of the year. Some bucks may still have velvet on the antlers and sleeker reddish colored summer coats. Late October and November hunts have bucks looking their best with heavy winter coats, thick necks, and polished antlers.
